Valuation of Malls in Greece

Valuation of Malls is performed, basically, through the analytical method of income (payment in advance of future cash flows), if it applies to an existing market, while for the valuation and the feasibility study for future Malls, it is a precondition to determine the value of the land and the scientific approach of the potential of future rentals achieved through development. In this latter case, familiarity with investment theories, econometrics and of the alternative sorts of investment, is mandatory. The method of depreciated replacement cost (DRC) contributes to the valuation of remotely located Malls (mainly large supply chains) for which no comparative data is available, especially in Greece.
