Home valuations and in general residential properties in Greece should be valued through the comparison method and the Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) method. That category of real estate in Greece does not, usually, lend itself to financial exploitation and the acquisition is clearly intended for self-occupancy and is connected to the so called “ownership syndrome” of Greeks.
